To take advantage of a government grant to enhance the energy efficiency of your home you will mean you will now need to have a Retrofit assessment. A Retrofit assessment is simply a full house survey, taking into consideration the current state of the property in detail, calculating the estimated costs to run your house. Once this has been completed, we will then advise on how to improve the energy performance of the property.
From July 2021, it will become law under the new PAS 2035 Legislation. In short, any energy performance upgrade will need a retrofit assessor and a retrofit coordinator to oversee the plans and project. Both our assessors and Coordinators are fully qualified and can ensure you don’t spend where it isn’t necessary and advise on what products will help improve the overall property performance.
Once we’ve assessed the property, the Retrofit Coordinator will then manage the project from start to finish. This literally means from advising you the costs and options you have to improve the Energy Performance to ensuring the chosen products been installed.
